Acupuncture treat hydrosalpinx, infertility and amenorria

History:
Patient 46 came for infertility. After history taking found patient had history of Fibroid in the uterus, missing one ovarian and one fallopian tube. The most resent lab diagnosis from the OBGYN, is hydrosalpinx, amenorrhoea (no period) due to high level of FSH hormone. Patient last period was on Jan 2012 for only one day and just spotting.
 Discussion:
Without having period, I would not know her cycle and is ovulating. Therefore, treating amenorrhea is my number one concern.Hydrosalpinx cause by fluid /blood block the tube and scar tissue may lead to infertility. In TCM diagnosis, it is dianosis as blood stasis and dampness heat accumulation. Patient’s tongue is red and coating appears very yellow thick and turbid.
Treatment during two months:
  1. 9 acupuncture treatments
  2. Customdesign special formula for hydrosalpinx*, ammenorrhoea*, Menopause*
  3. Acupuncture prescription and herbs formula was designed to move blood stasis, nourish liver blood, tonify kidney, clear heat and expel dampness
Result:
After Two months treatments. Patient had full period for four days, nice color, quantity and no pain or clots. Patient’s tongue coating appear to be normal no more Excess pathogens (stasis and dampness). Although red tongue no coating still show Kidney deficient which may relate to FSH high level.Change formula aid to tonify kidney yin and yang, raising body temperature (BBT) ready for ovulation.

After pointed out it was not a normal behavior, he started to hide. But noticeable that eyelash is half missing from one of the child’s eye. After history with both, I understand that child pulling his eyelash most of the time when he is doing his math home work. I recommended to him to use stress ball in order to keep his hand off the eyelashes. I also notice child coughing loudly with phlegm accumulation.
Treatment plan:  Relieve the stress, open the channel, clearheat and expel the phlegm.
After 10 minutes of acupuncture, child started crying and became very emotional. He started to tell mother his grief of his pet recently die. I put ear seed in liver, heart and Shen men area and instructed him to massage them when he felt anxious. Patient also needs to make a chart to record his achievement if he did well.

Pain assciate with hormone level change

During menopause, estrogen levels fall along with progesterone and testosterone. As estrogen levels decline, thyroid levels will follow because estrogen effects thyroid hormone production. See how everything is connected? So, how does estrogen connect to chronic pain? Well, artificially elevated levels of estrogen like found with hormone replacement therapy and oral contraception are strongly linked to joint pain. Women who use these hormone products are more likely to experience spinal pain for example. Estrogen has also been linked to arthritis. Using estrogen is like adding fuel to the painful fire. Joint pain is a natural response to inflammation in the body. Toe joint pain is no joke. Joint pain is noticed as early as the first trimester of a woman 's pregnancy. It is traced to a hormonal imbalance and is related to menopause.
Thyroid hormone is important for heart and lung function, muscle and nerve function, metabolism and gut motility. Thyroid hormone imbalances of the thyroid hormone can masquerade as many problems including: depression, menopause, insomnia, pain, and even psychosis. Thyroid imbalances are missed if both the TSH and Free T4 are not monitor. Do not accept the answer, "Your thyroid is fine". Make sure that both tests are within normal range and that the levels are normal relative to each other.
Acupuncture and herbal medicine can help to re-balance your body and aid secrtion of the hormone. All Natural approach!!
